Job Description
Assistant Accountant is required for an excellent role with my client. As the assistant accountant you will play a key role in the busy and progressive finance team. You will have an excellent opportunity to further your skill set in line with professional studies in areas including fixed asset, intercompany accounts, balance sheet reconciliation, tax budgeting and forecasting as well as management reporting.
As the successful candidate you will be AAT qualified or studying towards a recognised accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA). You will be a driven, ambitious and committed candidate keen to develop a career in a progressive organisation. Strong excel skills are needed and previous Oracle software experience would be beneficial but not essential. Experience within the Retail sector would also be beneficial.
My client is the finance function of a leading retail organisation with an international network of outlets. Having experienced rapid growth in recent years, the business is able to offer excellent development opportunities for part qualified staff and a benefits package to match.
Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
