Job Description
Project Accountant required for a minimum period of 6 months. As Project Accountant you will be responsible for the taking control of the fixed asset accounts, ensuring robust financial controls, monthly reporting and depreciation are correct and up to date and that all information is accessible for budgeting and year end. You will also be responsible for strategic forward planning to ensure all plans are viable.
The successful candidate will preferably be a qualified accountant or have the equivalent relevant experience. You will have previous experience of a similar role preferably within Public Sector. It is essential you have a flexible working attitude and can commit to the duration of the assignment. The individual must be motivated and able to work on their own initiative, as well as having excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with all levels of staff.
My client are a Public Sector organisation based in Derbyshire. They provide on site parking, flexible working hours and comfortable working environment. They are easily accessible via all major routes and public transport. The role is for a minimum of three months but is expected to be extended until March 2009.
Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
