Job Description
My client is currently recruiting for a Senior Finance Officer to join their busy team. You will assist the Finance and Payroll Manager to provide an efficient and effective Finance and Payroll function with primary responsibility to the development and maintenance of proper financial monitoring and control. You will also be involved in adhoc project and development work.
The successful candidate will have previous experience of producing management accounts, experience of collating and managing budgets as well as experience of working with a computerised payroll system or HR database. Additionally you will have knowledge of income tax and national insurance. This role will be leading a team of 4, and therefore staff management experience would be an advantage.
The salary band for this role is 26,000 - 34,000 achieved through annual increments (they are looking to initially appoint towards the start of the scale). The organisation also offers a final salary pension scheme with employee contributions of 6.5%. The organisation also offers a flexi time scheme, core hours are 9.30 -12.00 and 14.00 - 16.30.
Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
