Job Description
Accounts Clerk/Cashier required for a temporary to permanent opportunity working for a well established public sector organisation based in Birmingham city centre with a view to start immediately. You will be working as part of a small friendly accounts team and your daily duties will include raising sales invoices, cash allocation, daily bank reconciliations, processing BACS and CHAPs payments, petty cash, cashbooks, credit control and assisting with general office duties as and when required.
My client is looking for an experienced accounts clerk/cashier who will be able to join the team and hit the ground running. You will have excellent communication skills and will have an eye for detail. You will enjoy working as part of a small friendly team and must have experience working on a computerised accounts package.
My client is a well established public sector organisation based in Birmingham city centre with an open and friendly culture. This company offers modern open plan offices, some flexibility in the work hours and is local to the city centre.
Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
