Job Description

Leading FTSE 100 energy global giant currently have an exciting opportunity for a senior external hire within their Group Head Offices in Middlesex. You will be responsible for providing the Finance community with advice on complex technical issues. This will mainly involve assisting the business area on the application of group accounting policies, researching and advising on complex accounting problems and projects which arise, making recommendations on these to the business and playing an integral part in ensuring compliance with the group accounting policies. The work is varied and will provide good exposure to senior management and will provide the opportunity to get involved in wide ranging projects associated with acquisitions and disposals, rollout of new standards and the quarterly due diligence process. They are looking for a qualified accountant with strong financial and analytical skills as well as good technical accounting skills, particularly in relation to IFRS.
