Job Description

Fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified Chartered Accountant (or equivalent) to join this boutique private equity firm as a Management Accountant in a varied and challenging role. With a team of 12 in place and significant expansion plans on the cards that are likely to include further fund raising, our client can offer you a position that will develop, multiply and increase in scope faster than any other role available in the market. The initial focus will be on management accounting for the UK company and several subsidiaries plus overseeing all outsourced fund accounting. As well as being a key point of contact for investors and the Principals of the business, you will also assist in some of the limited partnership accounting and investor relations and crucially act as the right-hand person to the Finance Director. We are seeking someone with a strong personality, a proactive attitude and first class communication skills who is genuinely interested in moving into private equity. You will be recently qualified and ideally coming from a mid-tier or small accountancy firm with excellent training in accounts prep. Exposure to financial services would be an advantage but not essential. There is a strong likelihood this role will evolve over the next few years to cover staff management so would have plenty to sustain a career minded person for at least 5 years.
