Job Description
You will be working in their centralised accounts team of 14, based in a smart office development close to the tube.
The role will be responsible for:
Preparation of monthly journals for allocation of accruals and prepayments
Posting of staff timesheets and inter-departmental cost transfers
Preparation of daily and weekly cash reports
Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations
Preparation of monthly P&L summaries
Preparation of monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
Ad hoc tasks as required
Candidates should have a good understanding of accounts experience in the areas outlined above, particularly bank reconciliations, journals and monthly reporting. Microsoft Great Plains software experience is preferred, as is intermediate to advanced level Excel.
The successful applicant will have a strong academic background (ideally educated to 2:1 degree level) and preferably be actively studying for a professional finance qualification such as CIMA, ACA or ACCA.
Applicants should be strong communicators and able to work well within a medium sized, lively team and an open plan office. You will be a methodical and organised person, used to working to deadlines and with the flexibility to put in the required hours to make sure the job gets done.
The role will be working in a stylish, open plan office within a business park that has excellent facilities on site including an exclusive gym and café.
