Job Description
A position has become available to work for an internationally recognised company based on the Strand. The position, an Assistant Accountant, has become available due to the current incumbent relocating back to Australia. Working in a stable team of 7 and reporting directly to the financial controller, the right candidate will have the work hard play hard' attitude that this company promotes.
The company, which form part of an internationally respected publishing group specialise in computer software, which is specific to the market of mergers and acquisitions. Their clients use this software, which is constantly updated on current market movements allowing them to make well-informed decisions on any potential deals.
The right candidates will either be part qualified and looking to pursue a professional qualification, for which there is a full study package in place, or qualified by experience and open to where the role can take them. The duties for the role are as follows:
Duties:
- Supervising the accounts assistants and overseeing bank reconciliations and purchase and sales ledger
- Preparing payroll including PAYE and NI contributions using SAP payroll
- Performing month end duties including profit & loss, balance sheet reconciliations and trial balance Benefits:
