Job Description

This key role in the new FBSC leadership team will play a major part in this vision by leading and developing the Systems Management & Control team. This team will be operating the new SAP technology developed and implemented as part of the programme for Release 1 and beyond.

Responsibilities for this role include:
• Lead the maintainance of the core financial and reporting applications (SAP ECC, Business Intelligence and other SAP ECC components), including the extraction
of source system data using an ETL tool, to agreed service levels ensuring compliance with agreed levels of system availability and data integrity.
• Schedule and maintain a SAP activity timetable aligning to business reporting requirements, communicating this with business users to ensure all upsteam and
downstream processes are aligned and lean.
• Manage all changes to static and reference data and internal hierarchies, owning problems and resolving issues quickly and effectively.
• Control and administer all access rights and new user permissions providing assistance across the FBSC with SAP training and support.
• Using the technology available, identify, unlock and implement lean process improvements within own team and across the wider FBSC.
• Monitor and report progress (undertaking relevant data collection as required) against agreed performance measures (KPIs) and operating standards.
• Develop effective working relationships with key customers, FBSC colleagues and the wider Finance community.
