Job Description
The FBSC will go-live for Release 1 of this project on 1 April 2009.
This key role in the new FBSC leadership team will play a major part in this vision by leading and developing the process centric Service Delivery team. This team will be using the new SAP technology and new processes developed and implemented as part of the programme for Release 1 and beyond.

Responsibilities for this role include:
• Lead the production of key reconciliations of business source systems to the general ledger ensuring data will be reported accurately.
• Manage transaction processing of required journals and inter company adjustments.
• Ensure the accuracy of product accounting and cost processing in SAP by implementing robust financial controls.
• Manage a professional and value adding customer helpdesk facility, providing day to day operational support for all our customers.
• Respond effectively when problems or errors are identified, owning problems and resolving issues quickly and resolutely.
• Develop, direct and manage resources to ensure customer requirements are met in a professional, efficient and timely manner according to agreed two-way
Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Monitor, report and communicate progress (undertaking relevant data collection as required) against agreed performance measures (KPIs) and operating standards.
• Identify and implement improvements to processes and procedures in line with lean principles to increase quality of service and overall contribution to the business.
• Develop effective working relationships with key customers, FBSC colleagues and the wider Finance community.
