Job Description
Due to recent expansion, an opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join a friendly Accounts Payable team in the High Wycombe area.
Previous experience in a finance role is not essential but some adminstrative experience would be useful. Howver, a good academic background and a postive attitude are pre-requisites.
This Accounts Payable Junior role would suit somebody looking to take their first steps in finance who is hoping to gain experience and work in a friendly supportive team.
Duties include the following:
• Opening post and assigning to the correct member of staff.
• Entering details of vendors invoices and employee expenses.
• Creating new vendors when required.
• Reconciling vendor statements.
• Filing paperwork related to accounts payable including invoices, paycycles and statements.
• Assisting with the year end audit including providing the auditors with any information requested.
• Providing ad-hoc support to the finance department as and when need arises.
