Job Description

World Renowned Brand within the Luxury Fashion market currently have an unsurpassable opportunity for a Financial Controller to take control of their Asia-Pac region. This is a newly created role to support what for them is a fast growing region. You will be reporting into the Director of Strategy with all accounting for the region taking place at a local country level. Therefore, this position will have a strong commercial focus and you will be a key decision maker for the region. You will need to challenge local teams, summarise information to get an Asian region perspective, and support the Asian president in decision making. responsibilities will be split between managing the management accounting process for the region, coordinating the budgeting & forecasting process, monitoring key metrics such as weekly sales review, understanding local country differences etc. And finally ad hobc project work - you will be conducting various ad hoc analysis to meet business demands which will vary from country specific (e.g. Capex proposals) to region-wide (e.g. overheads analysis for the region) as well as support of strategic projects for the region.
