Job Description

An outstanding opportunity now exists to lead a significantly large division of a Group Plc. We are searching for an FD with Divisional and/or Site experience to oversee the day to day financial and commercial management of a division with a turnover in excess of £200mn. Key responsibilities include: to provide the Board with commercial and financial advice and reports; to liaise, as required with the parent Company; supervision of preparation of monthly management accounts; development of budgets and quarterly forecasts; management of statutory accounts process, liaison with Company’s auditors; Management of Company’s relationship with its bankers Management of cash-flow and loan facilities; liaison with parent company and co-ordination of budgeting and reporting requirements Key requirements include: Professional accounting qualification together with demonstrable and current technical accounting skills / understanding; Excellent I.T. skills including MS Access and SQL; Good interpersonal skills that will permit effective communication and influence at all levels; Enthusiastic, hands-on approach and determination to make a major contribution to drive the business forward; FD/FC experience in a FMCG environment (or strong FC background as ‘number 2’ at a larger FMCG business) is essential.
