Job Description
Credit Manager, Paignton, Devon
Objective:
To manage an efficient and effective Credit Control function that supports the business.
Responsibilities:
~ To supervise the Credit Control and Sales Ledger personnel
~ To deal with customers courteously at all times
~ To chase unpaid invoices and agree payment terms
~ To ensure Company procedures and policies are adhered to
~ To ensure customer service levels are maintained
~ To ensure legal restrictions / requirements are adhered to
~ Problem-solving
~ Management / Interrogation of in-house computerised system
My client is looking for someone who can supervise a small team and be responsible for all aspects of sales ledger and credit control. This is a rare opportunity to join a local company- my client is looking for someone with relevant experience used to working to tight deadlines and providing a high level of customer service. An ICM Qualification would be advantageous, but good communication skills, the ability to problem solve effectively and a proven track record are more important.
