Job Description
Trainee Accounts Assistant required to assist with accounting duties within a busy finance team. You will be posting journals, updating excel spreadsheets, providing support to the operations and sales team, downloading bank balances, posting customer payments on a daily basis, produce daily bank reconciliations, liaising with the banks and dealing with any queries on our bank accounts, reconciliation of general ledger accounts, processing and payment of invoices, dealing with supplier queries, processing and payment of all expenses and other administration requirements within the team.
You will be a keen to learn, happy natured individual. Experience is not necessary as long as you are willing to learn new skills. You will have excellent communication and personnel skills and easily adapt to change. You will be educated to GCSE level and/or be willing to study further to an accounting qualification. AAT Study support is also available for keen learners.
