Job Description
Payroll Clerk required urgently to join a very busy NHS payroll department for an interim assignment. Reporting into the Payroll Manager this role involves a high volume of weekly & monthly payrolls in a team environment. Key duties will include inputting weekly and monthly payroll; processing SSP, SMP, NI, tax; reconciling the payroll and answering queries relating to.
You will already have a strong background in payroll duties. Experience of working within the public sector would also be a distinct advantage for this particular role, although not essential. You must have a good understanding of payroll legislation and have excellent IT skills coupled with good attention to detail. A working knowledge of ESR or Oracle are highly desirable.
My Client is a large NHS based in Derby. This is an excellent long-term temporary opportunity that is for a minimum of 6 months. Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
