Job Description
Accounts Assistant required for immediate 6 month temporary contract. You will be working in a small team reporting to the Accounts Manager. This role includes maintaining of Cash Book, Purchase Ledger, Bank Reconciliations, Year End, Month End and calculating Staff Expenses. Previous Accounts experience is essential as our client is looking for someone who will take ownership of the accounts.
We are looking for candidates who have had a strong background in accounts and are studying their AAT ideally. You should be familiar with multitasking and enjoy working as part of a team. Experience of dealing with supplier statements and query resolution is desirable and therefore good communication skills essential.
My client is a leading IT company in Stockport. The company is able to offer a flexible, friendly working environment and is easy accessible from all major public transport routes. You will be working in a large, open plan office as part of a large team, so you must be a confident communicator and team player, willing to help your team mates at busy periods.
Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
