Job Description

Legal Cashier required to carry out daily banking of client and office monies, issue of client and office cheques input and maintain correct accounting data on the computing system. As a Legal Cashier you will also maintain ledgers and deal with write offs and file closure. Other duties include updating spreadsheets, answering queries from clients and banks and general accounts and admin duties as requested.
You will have strong knowledge of solicitors accounts rules and have worked as a Legal Cashier. You will have good Excel skills and have used a computerised accounts package. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and enjoy working as part of a professional team.
My client are a reputable law firm based in the City Centre, a short walk from New Street and Snow Hill stations. They have a number of offices throughout the UK and supply services worldwide. They require someone on a temporary basis whilst other members of staff are seconded to different areas.
Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
