Job Description
A payroll specialist is required for a permanent position based in Stockport centre. Working in a large team you will be responsible for processing payroll on behalf of your own clients, managing everything from processing starters and leavers, all statutory deductions, SSP, SMP and any bonuses, as well as year end duties.
You will have excellent experience in payroll, including year end duties. You must be a team player and willing to pitch in when you are needed with various aspects of the payroll for colleagues. Ideally you will have experience working in a bureau, or alternatively be able to cope in a very busy and time pressured environment. You must be able to work to deadlines and maintain confidentiality at all times.
My client are a large and continually growing payroll bureau processing weekly and monthly payrolls for a range of clients of varying sizes. They are well established in the market place and are seeking a dedicated payroller to join the team and maintain their excellent reputation. Based in Stockport they are close to motorway links and public transport.
Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
