Job Description
Financial services business in Chelmsford, having secured a number of long term contracts are seeking to recruit an experience fund accountant who has experience of either investment or unit trusts. Applications are open to qualified by experience, part qualified or qualified candidates who have the relevant financial services knowledge. Duties will include:
Production of Half Yearly and Annual Financial Statements including all necessary supporting documentation in the preparation of the audit file. Preparation of initial draft and updating all stages of the draft accounts in conjunction with the company secretarial department, proof reading all stages of draft to final production.
Reports are prepared under either IFRS or UK GAAP and in accordance with the Statement of Recommended Practice issued by the Association of Investment Companies. The individual will be familiar with the reporting requirements of these standards.
