Job Description

Our client is an award-winning property investment and development company. They have a portfolio of commercial and residential properties in the City, elsewhere in London and across the UK. The portfolio has a total value of over £2bn and includes numerous iconic properties. They now seek a Financial Controller to take a lead role in their small and dedicated Finance Department. The role is based in Central London and you will report to the CFO. You will be responsible for all accounting and corporate reporting for a fund of 30 entities owned by offshore companies. The role will involve overall responsibility for day to day accounting, and you will be liaising closely with the bank to ensure investor relations requirements are met. Your work will include preparing consolidated accounts for the fund group, quarterly and year-end. You will manage reconciliations and inter-company transactions, as well as dealing with auditors and co-ordinating tax compliance. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced qualified accountant to join a significant property company with a flexible, entrepreneurial working environment. You will have excellent communication and team-leading skills. You will enjoy producing excellent quality work to tight deadlines. Property experience and a keen interest in the sector is essential.
