Job Description
This City Investment Bank is looking for a Financial/Management Accountant to join its team. The position is a multi-faceted monthly reporting role with a broad set of responsibilities.
You will be responsible for providing insightful and commercially-focused analysis on both the financial and management information. You will be key in identifying variances to budget, underlying business trends, opportunities and risks. You will also be required to manage the budgeting / forecasting process on an international accounting standard basis, including balance sheet and risk weighted asset forecasting. Part of your role will be to develop and enhance FI and MI reporting and analysis, and develop and enhance forward looking non-financial metrics including WIP, Asset Sanctions, Share of Wallet and incorporating into business level analysis.
To be successful in this role, you will need a high Level of competency in Excel and Access. Your knowledge of business objects and of EssBase related systems is beneficial. If you would like to be considered for this role, you must have previous experience in corporate banking and be a CIMA finalist or newly qualified.
