Job Description
Our client is a world class investment bank looking for a financial controller to fill a temporary position. The role will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to work in a challenging environment in a role which offers the opportunity to progress in a top tier organisation.
Key responsibilities could include ensuring that reconciliations between source systems and the general ledger are carried out and circulated to management and all differences are investigated and resolved within agreed timescales. The role holder will also be expected to liaise with Middle Office and Operations to understand, resolve and clear any reconciliation differences on a timely basis whilst also preparing and booking any journals required for daily / monthly reporting or other reasons.The role also includes ad hoc reconciliation or financial analysis work as required by management.
