Job Description
An experienced, part-qualified or qualified Internal Auditor is currently being sought to work remotely in the North-East for my public practice client. The role will predominantly entail on site Internal Audit & risk based work on a long-term contract in Newcastle, reporting into the Manchester head office as appropriate.
The post therefore requires applicants to have experience of managing a small audit team on risk based Internal Audits, and knowledge of relevant governance issues in order to work remotely, appraise clients upon the effectiveness of their control frameworks and to provide bespoke working solutions.
Joining as a Manager, you will have preferably had prior exposure to leading projects on site and therefore possess excellent client facing skills. Further progression within the firm is largely expected - the Internal Audit department has built a significant fee base in a short space of time - and candidates can therefore expect to receive continuing career and training support.
