Financial Accountant, Hatfield, Hertfordshire
£18 -£25 per hour (+ excellent perm opportunities)
Our client, a rapidly expanding global entity with strong presence throughout Europe and the Far East is currently seeking a hands on financial accountant to join its group function. Working alongside the Treasury Accountant and Group Financial Accountant duties will include:
oAssisting with group reporting, (bank reconciliations, sales invoices, accruals).
oMaintenance of the fixed assets register.
oSupporting the Treasury Accountant in all aspects of accounts payable.
oProviding back-up to the Assistant Accountant and Group Financial Accountant.
oProcessing VAT returns.
oAccruals and prepayments.
oSupporting with ad-hoc finance projects as requested.
The chosen individual must be AAT qualified or studying towards ACCA or a similar qualification. Additionally you will be a strong communicator and willing to help with all aspects of financial accounting. Ideally you will have previous experience of using an ERP system, good Excel skills and be proactive in your approach. Initially a temporary role however a permanent post will be offered to those candidates willing to prove themselves.
