Temporary Credit Controller Welwyn Garden City Hertfordshire
£10 - £12ph
Welwyn Garden City
Our client, a worldwide manufacturing company with an approximate turnover of £70 million, currently experiencing sustainable and profitable growth are recruiting for a temporary assignment (5 months). Based in their credit control team, you will be responsible for managing your own ledger within a team of 3 reporting into the Credit Supervisor.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing a large ledger of live accounts
- Chasing high value/high volume debt
- Sending out copy invoices
- Raising credit, debit notes and cheque refunds where necessary
- Negotiating payment terms
- Reconciling and investigating account queries
- Allocating case and dealing with misallocated cash
This is a busy role working within a sales environment therefore you will need to want a challenge and enjoy and be motivated to working towards targets. Credit control experience is essential as is good negotiation, communication and Excel skills. You must be able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative and be motivated to reach monthly targets.
