Matthew Clark is a highly successful distributor of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks to UK pubs, hotels, restaurants and leisure venues, supplying many major high-street names.  Following creation of a joint venture in 2007, the business is co-owned by Constellation Europe, the world's largest winemaker by volume, and Punch Taverns, the UK's largest pub operator.  The vision of the business is to become the trusted partner to the UK on-trade.  The Finance department is currently undergoing a period of change to meet the strategic needs of the business, resulting in a significant investment in the function.
 
Subsequently an opportunity exists for a Business Development Analyst.  The purpose of this role is to partner the Matthew Clark and subsidiary sales teams in the assessment of potential business wins, and to provide customer profitability analyses for new tenders, with the aim to maximise margins and efficiencies, in line with strategic objectives.
 
The successful applicant will likely be a graduate calibre CIMA passed finalist / qualified with circa 3 years practical experience, proven leadership capabilities within a commercial environment and 2+ years of previous analyst experience.  A full UK driving licence is required.
