Job Description
A leading investment bank is looking for a senior financial controller to manage the financial control team in London. You will be working closely with the traders as well as the risk management teams and Amsterdam Head Office. You will be managing 3 people conducting daily reconciliations, exposure management and working on projects to assess front office systems.
The suitable candidate must:
Have previous financial control experience and management experience of direct reports.
Have strong knowledge within equity products. Knowledge of Repo and Stock borrowing and lending is an advantage.
Have an accounting qualification; ACCA, ACA, CIMA.
Have a proven track record of problem solving within a commercial environment.
Previous exposure to the trading floor is highly advantageous. The successful candidate will be a strong team player who is confident in their own abilities, comfortable working in a high pressure trading floor environment and has a genuine interest in progressing within the financial domain.
