Our client is a pioneering and entrepreneurial firm who are solely dedicated to providing an outsourced accounting service to a glittering array of private equity and other alternative investment industries. Owing to new business in the UK and Europe, they are looking for several qualified accountants to come on board and take on this new and highly challenging business. Principal responsibilities will be to manage all accounting and investor reporting for a range of private equity funds and clients with the chance to develop your technical accounting skills (US GAAP, IFRS, Limited Partnership accounting) in a highly client facing environment that will have you managing senior level relationships with CFO's, Investment Director's and alike. You'll also have day to day management responsibilities for at least one part qualified accountant who will handle the more process driven work. Past experience has shown that the people who perform best in this role tend to come from an accountancy practice background or a financial reporting role in industry. Private equity experience would be a huge advantage but isn't essential. In particular, we are keen on hearing from Top 4 trained accountants looking to fast track their career into management at a growing international firm. There are massive career prospects on the cards for those who do well and this is a multi-cultural office with a good mix of British, Irish, Australian, NZ and South African backgrounds. The firm ONLY promotes from within and is expecting to open up oversees offices in the US, Asia and Europe over the coming 12-18 months.
