Job Description
A leading London based accountancy practice requires a highly skilled Technical & Training Manager to join their Audit function.
You must have experience in a similar role or be at an Audit Manager or Senior Manager level with a strong technical skills set and interest in audit methodology and training
You will be able to cope with a large and diverse work load, take responsibility for a range of important tasks, and demonstrate high standards at all times. The position is ideally suited to someone in a similar or overlapping role or to an auditor with high professional standards and strong technical skills looking for a change.
You will give credible and robust advice to partners on financial reporting and audit and assurance issues, write clear and concise bulletins, guidance notes and training materials and present effectively on short (technical update) and long (practical auditing) courses.
You will also have excellent knowledge and understanding of financial reporting and auditing standards and preferably have knowledge of some specialist area(s), such as pension schemes.
Recent experience of working in Audit, including larger companies is essential.
