Job Description
An exciting credit control job working for one of the UK's biggest household insurance names!
Working in a team of 12 credit controllers, you will be responsible for:
- Collect receivable balances to enable the settlement of premium and claims with in agreed terms of business.
- Main method of debt collection will be via phone and correspondence as well as face-to-face meeting.
- Reduce aged debt helping to maximise company cash flow
- Allocation of cash
- Resolving all client queries that are resulting in late payment.
- Account reconciliation, identifying differences between ledgers.
- Maintain cash books, prepare month end reports.
- Implement systems and procedure To be considered for this role you MUST HAVE experience in credit control within the insurance industry, have the ability to plan and perform tasks with the aim of achieving agreed targets, and have excellent Excel skills and good communication skills, both oral and written. Languages would be beneficial, however it is not essential.
