Job Description
A unique opportunity exists for confident professionals with first class client liaison skills wishing to retain a flexible work lifestyle balance.
The compliance group within this major firm has evolved considerably in recent years and individuals within the group have moved from back to front office roles. Working in the group you are involved in every aspect of engagement with the client and will call on other specialists within the firm as and when required. Consultants through to Managers get to work on a rich portfolio of blue chip and mid cap clients.
As a Consultant you will be given the opportunity to review more cases and coach the work of others. You will take a more active part in complex cases and liaise directly with clients.
As a Manager you will have the skills and experience necessary to be the main client-facing role on the most complex, high profile clients within the Firm. You will also help manage and build new business through referrals, networking and spotting client opportunities.
Other key benefits of working in the group include:
· Flexible working hours full-time employees work a flexible 35 hour week. There are also various opportunities for part-time employees to fit around schools hours and school holidays or seasonal contracts where employees can work for 6 months over the autumn/winter and have 6 months off over the spring/summer months. The certainty on work profile and your own portfolio allows you to determine your work pattern to fit in with your private life requirements;
· Paperless working environment, including the latest software which allows you to easily work from home;
· This is a safe role in the current economic climate. Businesses have to remain compliant regardless of economic conditions! Business within the group is booming and they are already enjoying the benefits of 15% growth this year;
· All employees within the group are offered secondments to other groups within the firm including M&A, Transfer Pricing, Knowledge & Innovation, F&T or secondments into clients' in-house teams.
· Regular training and tax updates are given to ensure you constantly develop as a tax professional.
The cutting edge technology that the firm has developed takes care of much of the processing and administration tasks, allowing you to focus on managing client relationships and providing expert guidance on the tax driven areas of the compliance process.
