Our client, one of the UK’s top 10 accountancy firms, based in Guildford, requires a Tax Assistant Manager. Duties include compliance and tax planning for client allocation, supervision of tax sub-group, dealing with technical and administrative issues, completion of personal and corporate Returns, business computations and Lloyds compliance work, assistance in one-off client compliance and planning projects, review of compliance work produced by those in the team, review post out of those in the team and monitoring of staff performance along with junior appraisals. It’s essential the candidate have a wide technical knowledge of all taxes, a widespread knowledge of computer applications, an ability to write letters explaining complicated planning issues, excellent verbal skills as well as the ability to work well within a team.

Qualifications: CTA qualified. ACA or ACCA advantageous.
