My client, a General Healthcare Group currently employing over 10 000 contracted staff spread over 50+ sites nationwide is currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic ACCA/CIMA Qualified/finalist Assistant to the Finance Manager. You will be part of a finance team of 8 and be part of an organisation of over 180 staff based at their Worthing site.

The successful applicant will be someone that would like to eventually succeed the current Finance Manager and oversee the runnings of the finance department so ambition is essential.

Duties will include:·
Provision of support and assistance to the Director and Finance Manager, Assist in the preparation of Monthly Management A/Cs, Quarter-end packs and Annual Budgets, VAT & CIS quarterly returns, Nominal /General ledger reconciliation including balance sheet reconciliations, Monthly bank reconciliation, Carry out regular audit programme in conjunction with Finance Manager, To be aware of the hospital quality programme and participate as directed by the Finance Manager and to attend any mandatory training and meetings as directed by Finance Manager or Executive Director.
