Job Description
Part Qualified Accountant required to fill a permanent role. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward looking team. You will be involved in grant funding applications ensuring that the necessary funds are fully drawn down from various funding sources. There will also be the more mainstream assistant accountant duties of helping prepare monthly management accounts. Liaise with budget holders and ensure budgets adhered to. You will also be expected to produce analytical reports explaining variances from the main budget with suitable explanatory comments.
The ideal candidate will be AAT Qualified or Part Qualified and able to demonstrate that they have the right skills to match the role. You will be able to show that you have a background of assisting with management accounts and budget monitoring . The client would also be keen to see applications from candidates with a background in the grant funded sector as assisting with grant applications will also be a part of this role . Candidates who are able to communicate at all levels would be a good fit for this role as you will be involved with a variety of senior managers.
