Job Description
Sales Ledger Clerk required for a small manufacturing company based in Birmingham. As a result of financial re structuring, my client requires a motivated individual who is able to help out with the sales ledger duties. Your main duties will be raising invoices and allocating cash as well as entering transactions on to the sage accounting system. Other duties will include receiving customer payments, clearing debtor balances and sending out monthly statements to customers as well as general administration duties.
You will have experience working within a sales ledger department and have general accounting experience. My client wants to someone who is confident in their ability and is willing to learn and grow into the role. You will have good organisational skills and have the ability communicate effectively with customers. My client also requires someone who has experience in using Sage Line 50 and Excel as these requirements are essential.
My client are a small manufacturing and distribution company specialising in making products for the for public sector organisations. They have a small accounts function and due to growth they require someone who is able to fit into a friendly office. The hours of work will be 9am till 5pm, with 22 days holidays.
Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
