Job Description

My client is a leading Lloyd`s Managing Agency who requires a General Ledger Design Accountant to join them for a minimum period of three months. In this exciting role working within the change management area between finance, IT and projects, you will be responsible for designing the structure of the new General ledger including chart of accounts. You will also need to work with IT to determine how the new GL will link into existing financial IT systems and work with the project manager to produce documentation enabling a decision to be on the software vendor. As a result of the nature of the role a successful candidate will need to be a qualified accountant or equivalent with experience of designing a general ledger within the General Insurance industry.
