Finance Projects Manager

Our client is one of the Irelands’ leading professional services firms as well as part of the largest network of professional service firms across the globe.

Opportunity:
Due to continued expansion they are now looking to recruit a no. 2 to their Head of Finance division. The role reports directly to the Head of Finance of this multinational organisation.

Finance division consists of 45 people and separated into the following areas:

• Reporting & Operations
• Partner Affairs
• Payroll & Pensions
• Systems
• Project Management

The role:
The role will Head the Project Management area of this division.
It is a project orientated role so you will ensure the successful implementation of various financial projects across the firm. These projects will include looking at the business and identifying efficiencies, reviewing the working capital of the firm and developing strategy for best practice, ensuring implementation of various initiatives across the firm, streamlining processes to ensure organisation is working most efficiently.

Attributes of successful candidate:

• Ideally ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified but will consider strong candidates from a Consulting/Project management background.
• Experience in the following a distinct advantage: project management; systems implementation; service delivery; operating in a Senior Finance role of a large organisation
• 7+ years of relevant experience
• Ability to define, develop and execute projects of varying size with a proven track record of success
• Sound judgement, analytical thinking, problem solving, attention to detail and decision making skills are essential
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
