Job Description
This multi billion turnover multinational is looking for an experience management accountant to join their busy team in a 6 month maternity role.
•Month end processing and reporting
•Processing all transactions relating to costs to Client accounts on a timely basis
•Journal postings of accruals and prepayments with necessary backup
•Identifying variances in performance, investigating and reporting
•Identifying areas for opportunity and highlighting potential risks
•Producing monthly Profit and Loss reports
•Working with Operations Managers to understand their cost base and processes.
•Improving end to end processes and reporting, documenting and implementing changes in agreement with Senior Management.
•Detailed analysis of poor performing sites, working with Operations to recover margins
•Preparation of line by line yearly budgets
•Analysis of actual spend v budget
•Working with the Finance Manager and Operations Finance Manager to proactively improve operational efficiency, optimise cost and assess operational performance across the business.
As the ideal candidate you will be part qualified with a strong background in management accounts. This is a contract role with the possibility of permanent at the end of the assignment.
