Job Description

Impressive role working at this relatively new business that will see you start from scratch and develop a robust and independent internal audit and risk management framework. Established about 5 years ago, our client is a boutique financial services firm targeting a niche and highly lucrative section of the market. They've grown exponentially to stand at nearly 100 employees today with offices in the UK and smaller operations in Europe and the US. Their COO is looking for an ambitious and talented audit and risk pro who can come on board and carve out an internal audit function from scratch and develop a sound audit plan and methodology moving forward. You'll largely have a blank sheet of canvass to work from with the latitude to put in place the structure and design you see fit. The company culture is highly entrepreneurial moving into new territories and markets at break neck speed and they're looking for someone who is after a fast-paced and driven environment. Ideally you will be qualified to ACA, CA, ACCA, IIA or CIA standards with credible experience of delivering and outperforming in a technical and pressurised environment.
