Job Description
Credit Controller required for a large insurance company based in Edgbaston. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to over see and support a small team of credit controllers to ensure all credit control and administration tasks are completed daily. Duties will include chasing outstanding payments for approximately 1000 live accounts, negotiating payment plans, resolving account queries and disputes, assist in the litigation process of all bad debt accounts, produce company reports including month end and any other adhoc credit control duties.
The ideal candidate will have experience in using a computerised accounts package. You will also have experience looking after 2 or more credit controllers and enjoy seeing the reduction in aged debt. You will need to have excellent communication skills to develop and maintain relationships at all levels. You will be professional and organised as you will need to report to the credit control manager.
