Job Description
NHS organisation is seeking to recruit a temporary Assistant Accountant responsible for helping the finance manager deliver timely management accounting for the division, The role will involve also managing the budget process and facilitating updated budget information from the key budget holders. There will be considerable interface with other colleagues inside and outside of finance
The most appropriate candidate for this role would be an AAT or part qualified accountant who can display a thorough understanding of the management accounting process. You will also be required to show a solid feel for ensuring the budgets are correctly set and monitored. The client will also be expecting a candidate who can also get involved in the year end process. The ability to work with other departments is key to this role
My client is a medium sized not for profit organisation. Their role is to deliver a wide a variety of services to the local region. They offer flexible working and are well located for all types of public transport. The organisation is will be recruiting on a permanent basis shortly so a temp to perm option is strong possibility
Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
