Job Description
A new career opportunity has arisen for a Senior Tax Manager to join a leading Financial Services organisation based in Bristol. You will be required to provide strong management of life company tax advisory and planning, and actively contribute to the strategy of the life business and finance division.
Key Accountabilities
- Provide a proactive tax advisory and planning service in respect of the life companies to the business areas and senior management, in order to optimise tax efficiencies in those areas.
- Provide strong support to the Head of Tax Life Advisory, particularly in respect of life company commercial financial engineering projects, in order to maximise tax efficiency.
- Provide strong management and leadership to employees, and actively train and coach the department on life tax and corporation tax in order to strongly contribute to the development of the team.
- Participate in the management of a tax position in order to contribute to the tax optimisation of the group tax position.
- Liaise and communicate effectively with peer group in business and finance areas, in order to enhance a clear understanding of issues and share knowledge.
