Job Description
This renowned Global Equity Fund is looking for an enthusiastic Risk consultant to join them for a 12 month period. The main purpose of this role is to provide risk analysis and risk management information to the Risk Director and Group Risk Committee and monitor the completion and reporting of Sarbanes Oxley testing across M&G Group.
The key responsibilities of this role are to:
• Review and challenge business unit Turnbull and SYSC reports and reports of outstanding risk issues and actions
• Support the development, implementation and maintenance of information systems to support the risk/SYSC framework
• Liaise with other areas within the business to assist in developing a co-ordinated approach to operational risk issues
• Support the co-ordination and oversight of Sarbanes Oxley testing work
• Provide training on risk assessment and control self certification processes to the business
• Build constructive and supportive working relationships with management.
The ideal candidate will be fully qualified (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, IIA) or equivalent, have relevant experience in audit/ risk, possess working knowledge of risk management systems and implementation issues, along with prior knowledge of asset management or similar financial services organisations.
