Job Description
A dynamic and rapidly expanding company in Brighton (East Sussex) is looking for an Accounts Controller to start ASAP. The successful candidate needs to demonstrate a hands on' approach and be committed to their duties in a positive manner.
Main responsibilities will include
Sales & purchase ledger
Credit control
Invoicing
Bank reconciliation
Petty cash & cash flow management
Reconciling Account Managers monthly gross profit for accurate commissions payment
Month end proceedures including month end journals P&L, Balance Sheet reconciliation
Management accounts:-
Budget & forecast reports - on going liaison with Directors to set & monitor budgets for coming financial years
Variance analysis on overheads
Cash flow forecasting - on monthly & yearly basis
Prepayments & accruals
VAT return reconciliation
Preparation of year end for accountants
Preparation of monthly payroll including all commissions payable
Payment of tax & NI to HMRC in timely manor
All year end preparation for HMRC - P14/P60, P35 & P11D
