Job Description
Our Client is a leading financial services firm with operations in more than 50 countries. Lines of business include: Investment Banking, Retail Financial Services, Treasury & Securities Services and Asset & Wealth Management
The UK Finance Legal Entity Controllers (LEC) comprises approximately 32 people based in London and 28 in India. The team supports more than 100 legal entities, which represents approximately a third of the global business.
The Role
The role is responsible for day to day management of financial information delivery and the financial control of entities and for the co-ordination of the LLP and RSA processes.
Key responsibilities include
•management of production of financial information
•Financial integrity and reporting of certain legal entities, incorporating the month end, quarter end and annual reporting process for these entities.
• Process improvement through automation initiatives
• Co-working with an off shore team
The Candidate
•Preferably ACA / ACCA qualified
•Experience in the production of financial statements in accordance with the UK / US GAAP
•Product knowledge including derivatives, equities and debt securities would be an advantage
•Self starter with ability to take initiative and constantly challenge the process
•Ability to multi-task complex requirements under considerable time pressure, whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and quality
