Job Description
A professional is required for the global FX options BAC team of a global market leader in foreign exchange and investment banking. The role is based in the city of London.
The business has a variety of flow, proprietary and complex trading desks covering products such as: FX spot, forward, NDF, currency swaps, IRS, vanilla and exotic FX options, exchange traded futures & options, bonds, repo, FRA, OIS, IR options, loans & deposits, commodities and equity linked trades, together with structured transactions and more complex variations.
BAC provides financial analysis & MIS support to the front office, in addition to producing internal and external financial reporting, whilst maintaining and developing a strong control environment. Within BAC, the candidate will be responsible for financial control within global foreign exchange business managing FX options and complex risk.
The primary tasks of the role will focus on ledger reconciliation and postings to ensure that ledger reported P&L reflects MIS reported P&L.
For this role, the managers are looking for a qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or CPA) from a banking/trading background - either within financial control, product control or treasury with strong exposure to the business. Strong accounting skills and a flexible working approach is required
