Job Description
Salary: £25-30k Basic

ROLE:
Hitachi Data Systems is a model business within the group and has recently been undergoing significant growth. Finance is a significant part of this growth and a critical element within this area. Reporting directly to the UK financial controller, the successful candidate will have responsibility for Financial Accounting duties.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) VAT returns, completion and analysis/accounting.
b) Reconciling Balance Sheet accounts.
c) Supporting the Financial Controller with the preparation of Management Accounts and Statutory Accounts.
d) Prepare Spend forecasts and provide variance analysis.
e) Prepare headcount analysis.
f) Problem solving and dealing with queries.
g) Supporting some Payroll admin duties.
h) Prepare Intrastats & National Statistics returns.
SKILS/EXPERIENCE:
a) At least a Part Qualified Accountant.
b) Experience of working within a US GAAP environment.
c) Strong VAT experience.
d) Experience of Oracle Financials would be a benefit.
