Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation and review of monthly Management accounts for several high profile Hedge Fund
• Preparation & review of Quarterly VAT returns including exposure to Reverse Charging, Partial Exemption, VAT registrations (Group and Single entity), VAT investigations, VAT Appeals and Voluntary Disclosures.
• Preparation and review of monthly, quarterly and annual FSA reports on Financial Resource Requirements of regulated clients Advising clients on changes to current legislation with regards to Accounting Standards and FSA requirements
• Statutory accounts preparation and review
• Liaising with Auditors on behalf of clients, including discussions on interpretations of new FRS's with respect to specific client circumstances,
• Preparation of draft CT returns including conversations with senior advisors on highly technical issues.
• Preparation and review of P11ds for clients. Setting up Dispensations and PSA Agreements with HMR&C 
• Identification of opportunities for clients to take advantage of tax incentives e.g. Ex- Patriot tax schemes
• Mentor junior Staff 
• Work within a close team

Skills:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA ACCA) or finalist
• Experience within the professional services or Financial Services business sectors
• Knowledge of Sage software 
• Ability to communicate at a senior management level
