Job Description

Accounts Payable Clerk required on a permanent basis for a professional services company based in Birmingham City Centre. You will be responsible for processing invoices, matching, gaining authorisation and assisting with payments by BACS and cheque. You will also reconcile supplier statements and deal with queries. Hours of work 9 - 5.30.
You will be an accomplished purchase ledger clerk, experienced in all aspects of computerised purchase ledger from processing invoices through to payment. You will have superb organisational skills and an eye for detail. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are also essential for this role.
My client are a professional services firm who offer a range of services to their clients. They provide a good working environment and an excellent benefits package and 25 days holiday. There is no parking available however they are a short walk from New Street and Snow Hill train stations.
Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
